Eric Fletcher - RedX San AntonioSince before he landed his first job in radio, Eric has been deeply interested in both the art and science of communicating. Growing up in the Detroit area, he (like millions for more than 30 years) was fascinated and entertained by the work of Ernie Harwell, play-by-play announcer for the Detroit Tigers. By the time he was 20, Eric was working in broadcasting -- and winning recognition as a producer and programmer for radio and television.

Broadcasting and production led to a new preoccupation -- with the world of advertising. As an agency partner, Eric served as a leader in the industry, and won numerous awards for advertising, marketing and communication efforts on behalf of retail, financial service, accounting, consulting, healthcare, education and non-profit organizations.

This broad communication experience began to give way to a targeted business-to-business focus -- specifically, marketing, business development and sales. And for more than three decades Eric has worked with leading national non-profits, start-ups to Fortune 100 companies, and professional service organizations -- including global accounting, consulting, and corporate law firms.

Eric is co-author of two business bvooks: the recently released "Decisions That Matter: Tales of Law Firm Leadership In Moments of Consequence": and the pacesetting social media book, “8 Mandates For Social Media Marketing Success." He has been ranked on the Forbes list of Most Influential CMOs on Twitter, among theTop Private Company CMOs in America, among the 50 Marketing Thought Leaders Over 50 You Should Know, appears among the 20 most followed CMOs on Twitter, and is a former TED Talks speaker.

Eric is a Forbes.com contributor, serves on the Advisory Board for Southern New Hampshire University's Masters of Science in Marketing program, is a former member of the CMO Advisory Board for Thomson Reuters, is a member of the Legal Marketing Association, and since 2002 has authored the blog, Marketing Brain Fodder.
